As part of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
(SACS), Georgia Military College, as a SACS accredited institution, must
develop a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) that it executes in five year cycles.
These QEPs are designed to help increase the quality of education that GMC
provides to its students. While there were many potential topics for this
particular QEP, GMC faculty, staff, students, alumni, parts and administration
were surveyed, and the overwhelming choice was critical thinking. So, what is a
QEP, and how is GMC going about developing this? What does it mean for courses
